The brand only uses 100% naturally derived ingredients from trusted partners, and does not use endangered plants or ingredients that may be harmful to the environment such as oxybenzone, a common sunscreen ingredient that is believed to harm coral reefs. Safe for both the environment and the body, AROMATICA was the first Korean brand to receive EWG-verified certification in 2016 to indicate that the brand’s products are free of animal-derived ingredients, synthetic fragrances, colorants, parabens, silicon oils and mineral oils.
AROMATICA’s Packaging
An avid advocate of environmental protection, AROMATICA actively improves not only the production and sourcing of its formulas’ ingredients but also its packaging. The Korean brand uses recycled plastic, glass and soybean oil ink to reduce production-related pollution and waste.
AROMATICA has started using post-consumer plastic, also known as PCR. Recycling plastic lowers the chances of discarded plastic harming wildlife and puts it back into use. The brand also discontinued pump applicators, which are made of PE (polyethylene) and PP (polypropylene) plastic and springs that can’t be recycled easily. Instead, the products are designed with PP flip caps that are recyclable. Along with the recycled plastic containers, AROMATICA also uses sustainable glass packaging to reduce waste to landfills and to cut down the company’s air-pollution-related production. The Blossoming Body Lotion Neroli & Jasmine was among the first of its products to be packaged in 50% PCR plastic and 100% recyclable flip caps.
AROMATICA aims to educate consumers about the dangers of plastic packaging. On social media, the brand started the #OFFTHEPLASTIC movement to inform the public about the dangers that plastic and excessive packaging have on the planet and wildlife.

AROMATICA’s Reviving Rose Infusion line includes a cream cleanser, treatment toner, serum and cream. The skin care range harnesses the anti-oxidizing effects of roses to provide deep yet gentle hydration to sensitive skin. The rosebuds are cleaned and boiled in purified water at 80℃. The traditional extraction method ensures optimal efficacy of the raw ingredients to help make skin radiant and dewy.
